Reviews For The Hobbit

Wednesday, December 12, 2012

Here is a post about the reviews for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. It has a Metascore of 58 (20 positive, 18 mixed, 2 negative), which is not so good, being in the yellow. However, it has a User Score of 8.5, which is excellent. Everyone, even the down-right pessimistic movie-haters, loved the confrontation between Gollum (Andy Serkis) and Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman). Overall, the critics thought that the film was too flamboyant and grandiose. Those who liked it a lot also admitted that is was not quite as spectacular as The Lord of the Rings trilogy, nor did all its new formats best the traditional film. However, many of these reviews were written by non-Tolkien-fanatics, so I am sure it will still appear awesome in every way to us all. To see the critic reviews, click on this link.
