News for The Hobbit

Sunday, July 22, 2012

I am sorry that there have not been any new posts for the last few days, but there has not really been any interesting happenings concerning The Hobbit for the past several days. There are, however, a few tidbits of info that you may want to know.

Air New Zealand, New Zealand's airline, has turned several of their Boeing 777 jets into flying billboards for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

Multiple The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey tie-in books have been scheduled for release this November. They are:

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Visual Companion by  Jude Fisher.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Official Movie Guide by Brian Sibley.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Movie Storybook by Paddy Kempshall.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Activity Book by Paddy Kempshall.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey—The World Of Hobbits by Paddy Kempshall.

All the critics think that The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will look awesome in its 3D 48fps format.

There was a lot of talk about The Hobbit: There and Back Again being split into two movies, but I don't think that that is going to happen, as the shooting of the films has already ended and no provision was made for a trilogy, like The Lord of the Rings.

That is all I have to tell right now. If any more news pops up, I will keep you posted! Thank you for reading this blog.
