What has been happening in the last few days

Sorry to say, I have fallen a little behind in keeping up with The Hobbit news for the past few days,

And a lot of stuff has piled up, let me tell you. Instead of writing ten or possibly twenty different posts (yeah, it's that much), I will post all the little stuff beyond the break of this post. • On November 19, Air New Zealand released "Just Another Day in Middle-earth," another comedic video advertising flights to New Zealand, aka Middle-earth, featuring Dean O'Gorman and Sylvester McCoy. 

• The Weta Workshop unveiled the new Gloin the Dwarf statue, priced at $249.00

• "A Journey Through Middle-earth," and interactive Google Chrome experiment, was released on November 20. You can visit the site here or watch the YouTube trailer here.

• The Media Chronicles interview Grant Major, Production Designer for The Lord of the Rings here.

• The world is decorating itself in preparation for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug! The Express Train in Toronto, Canada has received a face lift, as well as The Grove in LA. We have also received word that the Wellington Airport will soon feature a new Hobbit sculpture. 

• The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will premiere on Monday, December 9 in Wellington, New Zealand, at the New Zealand Charity Gala Premiere.
