What has been happening in the last few days

Sunday, November 24, 2013

Sorry to say, I have fallen a little behind in keeping up with The Hobbit news for the past few days,

And a lot of stuff has piled up, let me tell you. Instead of writing ten or possibly twenty different posts (yeah, it's that much), I will post all the little stuff beyond the break of this post. So you do not have to deal with infini-scrolling, there will be a lot of links. Why are you waiting? Go beyond the break to hear about all the new interviews, videos, pictures, and more!

New Poster from WB and Stills from EW!

Wednesday, November 13, 2013

One fantastic banner and ten fantastic new stills!

These pictures (posted beyond the break) are visually stunning, though they do not give away any new scenes. I apologize for the low quality (and it is low) of the stills, but I am sure larger ones will be forthcoming in a few days, and I will post them in the image gallery

Update: I have found 'clean' versions of the photos below, though they are not quite as large. I have posted them in the image gallery.

New Banner for the Desolation of Smaug!

Thursday, November 07, 2013

Here is a second absolutely amazing banner for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug!

I have to say, I like this one a lot better than the first. It has a lot more action, and a much wider color palette. Go beyond the break to feast your eyes!

For those of you who missed it, there is a full transcript here, with all the questions asked by fans around the world and, of course, the answers from the awesome cast and crew of The Hobbit trilogy. And don't forget to watch the new trailer four or five times!

Five New Desolation of Smaug Posters

Thursday, October 31, 2013

Here are five posters for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, adapted from the banner that was released a few weeks ago

These are international posters, and the text is in Spanish, but it is the images we are interested in. The posters feature, Bilbo, Gandalf, Bard the Bowman, Fili, Kili, Thorin Oakenshield, Tauriel, Thranduil, and Legolas. Check them out beyond the break!

There's A Storm Brewing!

Wednesday, December 19, 2012

Here is the first poster for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug! It doesn't even give the movie's title, but it is easy to figure out. There is a head-on glimpse of the dragon Smaug. Only, there is no way a single picture of Smaug would be released this early, and probably ever. We did not even get to see his entire body in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. So, this poster has to be fan made. In fact, a certain David Chalmers (you can see his comment below) claimed this poster as his own. It is a pretty nice piece of fan art, I must admit. I would also like to assure you that since I did not create this poster, I had nothing to do with the "Search 'There's a Storm Brewing'" bit. It just happens to be a coincidence that this blog happens to be the #1 result when you actually search 'there's a storm brewing.' I hope you enjoy the poster!

Four New Banners

Thursday, November 08, 2012

Here are four awesome new banners. Although they are just portions of the larger banner, they are still pretty cool. One does contain a major spoiler, as it gives away the final scene of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. So, they will be posted beyond the break. Enjoy!

New Character Posters!

Friday, November 02, 2012

There are actually seventeen new posters for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. For some odd reason, the web browser was only showing fourteen posters, so I only posted fourteen. This post now will show the right amount, but they will still be beyond the break, on account of their size and number.

Four More Movie Posters

Saturday, October 06, 2012

Warner Bros. has revealed four new banner-like movie posters for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. They all show scenes revealed before, but they are in a cool new format.

Another Poster!

Tuesday, October 02, 2012

Yet another Hobbit poster has been released on the web. Marketing for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey has really picked, and I hope you are all as excited as I am for its release this December. The poster below features Gandalf (Ian McKellen), Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), several dwarves, and, to add a new twist, six goblins, none of which have been revealed as of yet. The most notable is the one to the left of Gandalf, Bolg, who is played by Conan Stevens.

After 266 days of shooting, the filming of The Hobbit movies ended last Friday. Now the countdown to December 14 really begins, when The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey comes to theaters in the United States.
Above is a banner for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which Warner Bros. revealed by means of Entertainment Weekly. It shows ten new scenes, including a first look at Beorn (Mikael Persbrandt), a shape-shifter who can become a man or a bear. Click here to see the full-sized version.
