Three amazing TV Spots, full of new scenes and footage, to watch during the next two days, and then...
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is only two days away! I can't believe it! I am sorry there have not been many posts lately, and I will use my ongoing excuse of being busy with other stuff - especially school, with semester finals coming up. But finals or no, I will still see the movie as soon as I can (midnight tomorrow - I'm so excited!), and I encourage you to do the same! For now, though, you can enjoy yourself by watching the new TV Spots.

Three New TV Spots and Two Days to the Desolation!

Monday, November 25, 2013
First of all, Entertainment Weekly has 30 second samples of all 29 tracks from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug soundtrack. However, Water Tower Music has upped it an entire level, and you can now listen to 60 second samples either on SoundCloud or using an interesting little gadget beyond the break. And that is not all! You already know about Ed Sheeran's I See Fire (now available on iTunes), but did you know that if you visit the official website for The Hobbit Film Trilogy the song A Feast of Starlight plays in the background? On a side note, a new TV Spot for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug has been released, and I have posted it beyond the break.
UPDATE: You can also listen to 90 second samples. (I've updated the gadget so that it now plays 90 seconds of each song instead of 60 seconds.)

Sorry to say, I have fallen a little behind in keeping up with The Hobbit news for the past few days,
And a lot of stuff has piled up, let me tell you. Instead of writing ten or possibly twenty different posts (yeah, it's that much), I will post all the little stuff beyond the break of this post. So you do not have to deal with infini-scrolling, there will be a lot of links. Why are you waiting? Go beyond the break to hear about all the new interviews, videos, pictures, and more!

Here is another TV Spot for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug!
This TV Spot does contain some new dialogue from Bilbo and Smaug, and also a new track plays in the background, but not much else. As usual, this only serves to increase my excitement for the movie, and it is working!

Here is the latest TV spot for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug!
A little bit of new dialogue and perhaps a few seconds of new footage, but nothing major is revealed in this TV spot. However, it is still awesome and I am excited to see it on TV! If you do not want to wait until that happens for you, or if you do not own a TV, just go beyond the break.

Here are the next two TV Spots for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug!
While there is not any significant new footage (aside from perhaps a few milliseconds added to a scene here or there, I could not really tell) there is some new dialogue. Overall, they are still quite exciting. Without any further ado, I will direct you beyond the break so you can watch them for yourself!

"If you awaken that beast..."
Here is the third TV Spot for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. While it does not contain any new scenes, it does feature some all-new dialogue from Thranduil, Gandalf, and Bilbo. It is definitely better than the previous TV Spots, and I would even go as far as to say it is more thrilling the trailer, especially the music, which is also new.

Which are: two teaser TV-spots, an improved version of the trailer, and seven new images from the Desolation of Smaug Desk Dairy!
We have also received and estimate of how much The Hobbit trilogy has cost so far, not including the pick-up shooting this summer: $561,000,000. Quite a hefty number. Its good to know that Peter Jackson is going all out!

And it is totally awesome!
I have already watched it a total of four times, and I hope you will at least watch it once! It contained tons of new footage and overlapped very little with the previous trailer. It is surprising that Peter Jackson is showing us so much so early. I wasn't even expecting to see Smaug until the movie comes out, but there he was in the very first trailer! And here he is again, with an awesome voice done by Benedict Cumberbatch.

The third piece of artwork in the run-up to the launch of the new trailer has been released!
Here is Bard the Bowman, played by Luke Evans. The entire picture, along with different versions of the other two, as usual has been posted beyond the break. Here is anther interesting tidbit of info: Ian McKellen recently tweeted that he and Orlando Bloom would appear on NBC's Today Show tomorrow at 8am EDT, just before the release of the trailer!
Update: I have also posted a different version of Bard the Bowman, for those of you who like their pictures clean.

Already, the second piece of artwork in the run-up to the launch of the new trailer has been released!
This time, Stuff.co.nz has had the honor of posting it on their website. As you can undoubtedly see, it features Thranduil, played by Lee Pace. I will try to keep you posted on all the updates, but it will be quite hard for me to not fall behind!

A reliable Russian source (Henneth-annun.ru) recently posted that the third trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation will be released sometime in early October. (Trailer #2 being an abridged version of Trailer #1.) As Gravity is the only Warner Bros. movie coming out between now and December 13, it makes sense that the upcoming trailer will be attached to this film, which comes to theaters on October 4. I am really excited to see the new footage, and I am sure you are too!

The British Board of Film Classification has recently approved the rating 12A for second trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
The running time is set to 1 minute 31 seconds, 38 seconds shorter than the first teaser trailer. It is very likely that this will just be a remix of the previous trailer, but I am sure that you, just like me, are hoping that we will get to see some juicy new material.

Here is the first official trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug!
For now, this post only contains the video; an analysis will come a little later. This teaser trailer more than met my expectations. It was fantastic, containing great footage of Laketown, Erebor, Mirkwood, and Smaug!

A full-length trailer will debut June 12!
The British Board of Film Classification has just approved a trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug! It is not a teaser-trailer, as it is just over two minutes long (2:1), and, as the date suggests, will probably be attached to Man of Steel. No other details are known, but we will only have to wait four more days!

Here are few Now Playing TV Spots for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. They are just repeats of what has been shown before, and, since the movie is out, they are not really all that important. But I, nonetheless, will post them, if you would like to see them.
